None of the hundred brands in the library declares an Italian concession. This moves the question \u00abwho do I turn to if something goes wrong\u00bb outside Italy, and splits it into two smaller questions: to which body, and against which company.<\/p>\n

These are two separate questions, and the second is the one almost nobody asks. The name on the casino's home page is almost never the name that appears in the register.<\/p>\n

The document that in Italy would answer this question is the concession, and what it really certifies is explained in ADM concession<\/a>. Which body really issued the licence<\/h2>\n

The licence number appears in 68 documents out of 100. The bodies named are three, and the distribution does not leave much room for interpretation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Malta never appears. No European Union body appears in that column, and the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli does not appear. The phrase \u00abforeign licence, typically Cura\u00e7ao or Malta\u00bb that circulates in Italian rankings, and which was for a long time on the home page of this site too, finds not a single confirmation in the documents read.<\/p>\n

The consequence is clear-cut: for every brand with a number, the body to address a complaint to is in Cura\u00e7ao or in the Comoros. For the other 32 there is not even a body to name.<\/p>\n

Who you write against, if the brand is not the counterparty<\/h2>\n

The 68 published numbers correspond to 53 distinct registrations. The difference arises from a simple fact: the licence is issued to a company, not to a brand, and nine registrations on their own cover 24 brands.<\/p>\n

The most extensive case is the Anjouan registration ALSI-202508056-FI2, printed by five different brands \u2014 Oshi Casino, PlayAmo, Slotum, Winz.io and Bitkingz. In the public register, consulted on 2 September 2026, behind that number there is a single company, Novatrix SRL, with 67 associated domains and a single expiry date for all of them.<\/p>\n

Wild Fortune shows the same thing from the other side: its domain does not have a licence of its own, it is one of the 29 domains gathered under registration ALSI-202509073-FI2 in the name of Metlait SRL.<\/p>\n

Anyone who opens a complaint writing the trade name is writing a name that does not exist in the register. The name that does exist is the company's, and it is in the line next to the number. How brands and domains multiply is the subject of the page on why casinos change domain<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Why \u00ablicence verified\u00bb means nothing without the name of the register<\/h2>\n

Cura\u00e7ao publishes two official sources, and the two sources do not say the same thing about the same licences.<\/p>\n

The first is the certificates portal. It is indexed by domain and by company name: you search starting from the site’s address, and searching by licence number does not work at all. It returns a certificate with company, company number, licence number, date of issue and current status. A removed domain gets the answer that it has been taken off the register; a licence hit by a revocation carries the corresponding wording at the head of the page.<\/p>\n

The second is a register in PDF format, reissued every few days, containing number, company, type of licence, company number, date of issue, expiry date and status \u2014 but it does not contain the domain column at all.<\/p>\n

On the same licences the portal may show the original date of issue and an active status, while the PDF shows the date of a collective re-registration, a status of assessment in progress and an end date that has already passed. What does match are the company numbers. Anyone who writes \u00ablicence verified\u00bb without saying which of the two documents they opened has said nothing verifiable.<\/p>\n

What changes when the number turns out to be revoked<\/h2>\n

Five brands publish a number that in the register turns out to be revoked: BC.Game, Bets.io, Betriot, Casinoly and Zet Casino. The last three share the same number, OGL\/2023\/103\/0067: a single revocation hit three shop windows.<\/p>\n

The number at the bottom of the page does not change after a revocation. It is static text on a site the operator controls, and there is no mechanism that updates it. The change is visible only in the register, and that is why the register is the only document worth opening.<\/p>\n

For a complaint the difference is concrete: with a revoked registration the body you would write to no longer has an ongoing relationship with that company.<\/p>\n

The Anjouan register and the column that contradicts the one beside it<\/h2>\n

The public register of Anjouan can be consulted and shows for each entry company, status, number, type, date of issue, expiry date and domains covered. It is more informative than the Cura\u00e7ao portal precisely because it lists the domains.<\/p>\n

It does, however, have a flaw that should be known before using it as proof: the status declared does not take into account the expiry date printed in the column beside it. Registration ALSI-132405042-FI3, in the name of Pixel Entertainment Limited and associated with the single domain of Empire.io, showed as valid when read on 2 September 2026 with an end date set at 27 May of the same year, three months earlier.<\/p>\n

Two values that contradict each other are read on the same line of the same screen. Anyone who quotes only the first is quoting half the document.<\/p>\n

Two licences, two companies: which of the two is the counterparty<\/h2>\n

Some brands do not have just one licence. They have two, from two different bodies, in the names of two different legal persons \u2014 and it is not a contradiction, it is how the sector works.<\/p>\n

A check of all one hundred brands against the certificates, carried out on 4 September 2026, found six cases in which the company name associated with the number was that of the other licence. For Wild.io the Cura\u00e7ao certificate names Nonce Gaming B.V., company number 161858; for Metaspins it names Metaspins N.V., number 160102; for Thunderpick, Paloma Media B.V., number 146988. Wild Fortune, for its part, declares in its own terms a Tobique licence in the name of the same Metlait SRL as the Anjouan registration.<\/p>\n

Before writing to a body it is therefore worth knowing which of the two licences covers the domain you played on. The Cura\u00e7ao portal answers by domain, the Anjouan register lists the domains: the question is the same, the document to open depends on the number printed at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n

Where the dispute almost always arises<\/h2>\n

It does not arise during play. It arises at withdrawal, and that is the point at which all the documents read reserve the same right.<\/p>\n

The clause on identity verification can be read in 49 brands out of 100, and in all 49 the request for documents remains an option of the operator, exercisable at any time. A figure above which the request becomes almost certain is declared by five: 2500 \u20ac at clause 6.6 for Bitcasino.io, Sportsbet.io and Livecasino.io, 2500 $ at clause 11.4 for Rocketpot, 2000 USDT at clause 5.4 for Empire.io. The other 44 clauses contain no number at all.<\/p>\n

To this is added the withdrawal cap, published by 14 brands out of 100 with their own clause number: a balance that exceeds it does not come out in a single movement. What this page cannot tell you<\/h2>\n

It cannot tell you what happens after the complaint has been sent. The complaints procedure of the Cura\u00e7ao Gaming Authority and that of the Anjouan Gaming Board have not been read from their respective pages and are not in the library: neither the forms, nor the deadlines, nor the outcomes are therefore described here, and no response time is claimed.<\/p>\n

It cannot tell you whether those bodies actually act on an individual dispute, because no data read demonstrates it one way or the other.<\/p>\n

And it does not cover the whole library in the same way: 38 brands were read on the live documents, 41 on an archived copy of the same pages, 21 did not open at all. For those 21 every field is empty, and empty means not read, never \u00abdoes not exist\u00bb.<\/p>\n

What this page can tell you is where to look before depositing: which body is named, which company holds the number, which of the two Cura\u00e7ao registers you are reading and whether the expiry date printed has already passed. These are four checks that take a few minutes, and they are much better done before than after.<\/p>\n
